Very rarely still, so most photos of these birds have blur in them somwhere, but this female did stop for a couple of seconds.  Well worth the effort to follow them until that brief moment that they stop.

This house has been demolished in part of the recent works at Happisburgh.

Colour ringed gulls, Great Yarmouth

Managed to pick a few of the details out on some of the colour rings on the Med Gulls in Great Yarmouth the other day, and with the assistance of a fair few photos of the same bird picked out the numbers on a metal ring.

Green ring AJCA

Red ring YHAO (YHAU?)

And this one has a Belgian ring with the number E 905598.

Some follow up will be required...
