April highlights

Here are my highlights from April.  Few migrants for me, but lots of big clouds and opportunities for some landscape photography.  I did manage to squeeze a Wheatear in before the end of the month though!

Some of these photos have appeared on my social feeds, but some not.  Some might yet make it onto my website

Enough words, I hope you enjoy the images.

Bempton Cliffs, this time with Puffins.

Here are some of the more straightforward images from a recent trip to Bempton Cliffs.  I was lucky enough to be there on the day of a minor Puffin influx.  On the following Good Friday, when the sun was out and all the holidayers turned up to see the Puffins, there were none to be seen.

I'll put some of the images up soon.

Free Nik software bonus

I'd been toying with the idea of purchasing the Nik suite of Lightroom plug-ins, largely because I had continued to see praise heaped on it from the black and white photography community.  I was more than happy to find out recently that google had released it all free to download!

Bonus.

Here are a few that I have processed over the last few days.
