Fledged Swallows

Was taking photos of a Swallow feeding two recently fledged young yesterday.  Most of the images have technical flaws while I played about with the settings but in the circumstances I'm probably being a bit picky.  The DoF sacrificed (in error) in order to up the shutter speed, that kind of thing.

Here's the first of them anyway...

Rose-coloured Starling

I promise not to upload anymore pictures of this bird.  At least today anyway...

Rose-coloured Starling

With the way the that shutters were repeating today, I would guess that there are approximately 33 million photos of this bird in circulation but hopefully this one is a bit different to the mega sharp close-up.  I do have some of those and might well post them soon...

The light was poor today and the ISO a bit on the high side, but the bird an absolute stunner.  Thanks to the residents of Wells-next-the-sea.

Pied Wagtail

There is a nest on my patch, and this is one of those busy attending to it.  Officially a 'cracking little bird'
